The Jor-Mac Company, www.jor-mac.com, is a leading contract manufacturer of precision metal fabrications, NEMA enclosures, related electro-mechanical assemblies and engineering services. We are looking for a Buyer to work closely with and partner with Jor-Mac’s internal teams and external vendors. The candidate that we are looking for will be an outgoing, experienced, cost-savings focused and accomplished individual who can work in a fast paced and high performing business environment.
We are looking for a robust, strong-willed, and results driven candidate. You need to be a high performer to build and maintain working relationships with vendors. You will work independently to consistently look for cost savings opportunities, while be rewarded for drawing those costs out. You will negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure the highest quality product received at a cost-effective price. You will work in our ERP system to run reports and determine material needs to ensure production needs are met. You will need to be a self-motivator, as this role works independently. Thinking on your feet is a must for this role as needs can be ever-changing and require immediate action. The Buyer position reports to our Vice President.

- A key player on the team who can effectively build relationships with vendors and coworkers.
- 3 years of purchasing experience; emphasis in having experience in our industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management of Business Administration
