The Jor-Mac Company has an immediate full-time opportunity for a CDL Truck Driver on 1st Shift. This position requires drivers to pack and prepare customer order for shipping; load and unload trucks according to established procedures and shipping regulations; ensures customer delivery requirements are met; drives a tractor-trailer combination majority of the time and at times a straight truck to customers for deliveries and pick-ups.
Responsibilities:
- Package parts to prevent any damage in transit.
- Deliver parts in a timely and safe manner to outside service vendors and customers.
- Pick up parts from outside vendors while maintaining the paperwork from all deliveries and pickups.
- Load and unload parts and supplies from the trucks.
- Helps count, band, and pack finished products.
- Ensure that trucks are in clean and repair.
- Locate parts in shop that are ready to ship.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Check that all required documents for all jobs, quality, and ISO:9001 are with parts at the time of shipping.
Requirements:
- Experience with ISO:9001 requirements
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and CDL license.
- A good driving record with safety as a high priority
- Possess no recent moving or driving violations.
- Shipping and receiving experience.
- Strong reading, math, and communication skills
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- The ability to read road maps and follow directions.
